| Outstanding
students from Secondary 1, 2 and 3 were selected in this competition
based on their performance in the mid-year art exam project. They
also agreed to forgo part of their holidays for this learning journey.
The entire project started in the 1st week of the June holidays and
lasted for 3 weeks. |

| As
symbol design was a new topic to our students, we used familiar brands
like Nike to explain symbol and logo designs to them. They were each
given a set of notes on symbol design to read. It included real life
case studies of companies found from books and Internet. As a result,
they understood symbol design better. |
