13 Jul 11: CEP / Racial Harmony Seminars for CEP Team
A one-day CEP programme specially organised for schools’ CEP team members. It seeks to sensitize teachers on issues related to racial and religious harmony, and capability-building. The hands-on and interactive programme engages the teachers such that they will be better equipped to transmit the CEP messages to their students.
3 Jun 11: NE LEGO® Contests
The LEGO® Smart contest, launched for the very first time in Singapore and in Asia, challenges teachers to create innovative classroom activities using LEGO® elements to engage students in NE.

Launched for the very first time in Singapore, the LEGO® Build-the-Change contest hopes to inspire and develop our builders of tomorrow by challenging students to build their vision of Singapore as a global city of the future in the year 2050, using LEGO® elements.
Apr 2011: Action Research Course in National Education (NE)
An effort to encourage the design and delivery of quality National Education Programme in school. This course aims to provide the link between Research and Practice as well as the ways teachers can impact their own classroom teaching, classroom management and assessment of programmes.
Feb 2011: Stories Teachers Tell™
The Stories Teachers Tell™contest encourages teachers to use their imagination and write the stories they have always wanted to tell – stories that will excite and engage children and help them to understand and be proud of their culture, history, and folklore.

2 Nov 10: Connexion 2010
Connexion 2010, organised by Nexus and the Ministry of Education (MOE), is part of the series of “Connexion” events, which aim to promote networking and collaboration among National Education (NE) practitioners, as well as equip them with the knowledge, skills and resources to reach out to their audiences more effectively.
29 Apr 10: Doodle 4 Google - Our Singapore
First Doodle 4 Google competition was held in Singapore from Jan-Mar 2010. Nearly 30, 000 doodle entries were submitted from over 400 schools.

21 Jul 09: Launch of the Enhanced Racial Harmony Website
A Google Maps-based website designed to aggregate media from schools in relation to Racial Harmony was launched.
13 Mar 09: NE Seminars for Beginning Teachers
The first in a series of NE seminars for beginning teachers from all schools was conducted in collaboration with Civil Service College.
1 Mar 09: Launch of the Singapore Creates Book
A coffee-table book containing photographs of the workshops and launch, and reproductions of the artwork was published. The book was distributed to all schools as part of a 'Celebrations Package' including resources and materials for school programmes for NDP.
16 Feb 09: Learning Journey Enhancement Project
A Learning Journey Enhancement project was started to provide teachers with an opportunity to learn about various Learning Journeys and have a hand in creating enhanced resources for all schools.

28 Aug 08: Launch of Learning Journeys Commemorating Book
Commemorating 10 years of Learning Journeys was launched by Ms Grace Foo, Senior Minister of State for Ministry of National development and Ministry of Education.
2 Aug 08: Launch of Singapore Creates
Singapore Creates was launched by RAdm (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, Senior Minister of State for Education and Information, Communications and the Arts.
Jul 08: Trail Blazers
This 8-part English Documentary Series feature 8 pioneering figues in Singapore's history. A jointcollaboration by MOE and MDA.
1 Apr 08: Redeveloping the Online Central Booking System for Learning Journeys
The Learning Journeys website was redeveloped and enhanced to cater to the growing Learning Journeys programme.

20 Jul 07: Racial Harmony Day Celebrations
In 2007, there are two key events for Racial Harmony Day 2007 namely:
a) RH Forum for school leaders, teachers and parents on 6 July. b) 3 schools are hosting the Racial Harmony Day Celebration.
7 Mar 07: Recommendations by the Committee on National Education (NE)
Announcement of the Recommendations on NE was made during Committee of Supply by Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Minister of State (Education).
5 Mar 07: Enhanced to MOE NE Website
The MOE National Education Website was enhanced to communicate and provide more NE information.

2006

24 Aug 06: Committee on National Education (NE)
The Ministry of Education is setting up a Committee on National Education (NE) to look at ways to further strengthen the heartware and rootedness of our young, and encourage them to shape the character and life of the society they will inherit.

2005

6 Aug 05: Launch of Today In History Book
Today in History book was launched by Mr SR Nathan, President of Singapore.
9 Mar 05: Revised CIP Policy for JC/CI only
Removal of the minimum 6 hours requirement for CIP for all JCs and CI students.
2005: NE Development Awards
In 2005, the NE Awards included also the Development Awards (NE) which were introduced as part of the Expanded Masterplan of Awards.

Oct 03: National Education (NE) Cluster Prototype
The first National Education (NE) Cluster Prototype was held with North 5 cluster.
June 03: Enhanced Learning Journeys
An Enhanced Learning Journeys was introduced for JC/CI students with nine partners.
3 May 03: Network Conference
A Network Conference was held. Mr Lee Hsien Loong, then Deputy Prime Minister was the Guest-of-Honour.
15 Feb 03: Launch of MOE Racial Harmony Website
MOE Racial Harmony website was launched by Mr Hawazi Daipi, then Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education.

18 Sep 02: Lee Kuan Yew National Education (LKY NE) Award
1st LKY NE Award was presented to National Junior College at the Workplan Seminar 2002.
20 Jul 02: Racial Harmony Day Anchor Event
The 1st Racial Harmony Day Anchor Event was held at Tampines Junior College. RAdm (NS) Teo Chee Hean, then Minister for Education was the Guest-of-Honour.
RH Forum was concurrently held for school leaders and teachers.
25 Apr 02: Committee on Strenghtening Racial Harmony
The Committee on Strengthening Racial Harmony in Schools chaired by Mr Hawazi Daipi, Parliamentary Secretary (Education), and comprising representatives from schools, parent support groups and the community met for the first time.

12 Jul 00: Community Involvement Programme (CIP) Thank You Ceremony
The 1st Community Involvement Programme (CIP) Thank You Tea Reception ceremony was held. Dr Aline Wong, then Senior Minister of State (Education) was the Guest-of-Honour.
