About the website

“Today in History” is the product of the collective effort of all primary schools, secondary schools, special education (SPED) schools and junior colleges, and their students. The book was officially launched by President S R Nathan on 6 August 2005 to commemorate Singapore’s 40th birthday. The book is unique in presenting students’ perspectives on both well-known and less well-known events in Singapore’s history. You can find out more about the project on the "Today in History" website.
