My logo shows four puzzle pieces connected together as one. Each piece is of a different colour, representing the skin colour of the four main ethnic groups. The four smiling figures in each puzzle piece are holding hands, signifying that the Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians can live peacefully with one another. I chose to use the puzzle piece as they can interlock with one another and therefore connect as one piece.

The figures in the design represent the four major united races. They are in the same size because every individual is treated equally in Singapore. Holding our hands together, we go through the thick and thin that forges and strengthens our bonds. Love can be felt between us as we show sincere care and concern for one another. We are like a multi-colour piece of social fabric, creating a cohesive and vibrant Singapore.
